Green monster!

Thank goodness our tomato harvest was pretty much done! We had a green monster show up yesterday to lunch on a green tomato and he was still there today!





Turns out he/she is a Tobacco Hornworm. Nasty little devils which can wipe out tomato plants in 12 hours. We only had two small fruits left so we let him hang out. Of course now that I know he'll turn into a huge (4 1/2" wingspan!!!) Carolina Sphinx moth I'm reconsidering! I despise moths!!!!!!
