DH took this pic of Linus chewing his "soft" toy. We broke down and bought him one recently. He LOVES them but a little too much as all the prior stuffed toys have been shedded. With this one, he only gets it when we are there and if he starts biting it too much I just "Easy, don't tear it up!" and he stops and lays his head on it! He's a good boy!

Saint Mary's

Today we headed to Saint Mary's which is a seaside park in Bridgeport,
CT. Mom wanted to visit and spend some quiet time since her father's
ashes were spread here years ago. We enjoyed the beautiful morning
weather...sun, surf, and seagulls. I bet DH shot 200 pictures along
the park!

Mystic Seaport

We spent our 3rd day at Mystic Seaport! We explored the port and took
a ride on a steam powered boat called the Sabino which turned 100 this
year. Then we drove through Mystic and on to Stonington. The weather
was a bit ovecast but still pleasant. Clam chowder was our lunch
today. But we met some family at Taco Loco for dinner.

We spent our 2nd day in Massachusetts exploring the countryside. On
the recommendation of the Joseph family we headed out to the Wayside
Inn and Grist Mill near Natick. It was great day weather wise and we
wandered the grounds and the mill. We stopped for photos along the
brook, met the grist master, saw a wedding and just breathed in the
New England country air. Afterwards we headed to the Stop'n'Shop for
groceries for a cookout at Chez Joseph and some cocktails, cocktail
music, and dominos.

Smart Car in Union

Spotted this ForTwo Smart Car in Union Missouri!!! LToo has been
raving about these for awhile. We saw one on the interstate once about
a year ago. These get like 50 mpg and are pretty roomy considering
their small size. This one was decked out with a cool paint job, skull
decals on the windows, a dragon head antennae ball, and "Fear This" on
the back glass! Ltoo yelled cool car to the owners as we drove in.
